The Catalog.

Find the right agent first, their listings follow

A real-estate platform that flips the search around: you first choose a qualified agent, then access their catalog of properties, for buying, selling, renting or investing.

The Catalog
Context

The Catalog puts the agent forward, not the listing. The founding idea is stated right on the home page: you look for an agent rather than an agency. Instead of browsing thousands of properties, you search for an agent selected on their reviews, experience and skills, access their catalog, then send them your request. You enter through the human, not the listing.

My role · Fullstack Next.js
The problem

Classic property search starts with the property: you stumble on a listing, you like it, and only then do you discover the person who will (or won't) know how to handle the project. The result is a pile of cold contacts, with no way to know whether the agent in front of you is competent, available or aligned with your expectations.

My approach
01

A search that starts from the agent

An agent-centric search with an instant toggle between map and list. The home form combines project type (buy, sell, rent, invest), location and skills to surface the right profiles, not property records.

02

A geolocated interactive map

Each agent is placed on a Mapbox map, with clickable markers and animated re-centering. Map and list are in sync: selecting an agent in the list centers them on the map.

03

Advanced server-side filters

Filtering (spoken language, reviews, skills, location, project type) is delegated to the server via TanStack Query, with caching and sorting. Filters apply without reloading the page.

04

The agent's catalog + booking

Each agent has their own page: about, skills, and their catalog of properties (price, area, photos). Alongside it, a slot-booking module lets you send a qualified request straight to the agent.

05

A role-based agent space

On the pro side, a dashboard to manage the catalog (multi-step listing creation, bulk delete, sortable tables, an appointment calendar). A middleware strictly separates the visitor, client and agent journeys.

What it actually changed.

01

You start with the right person

No more random cold contacts: you pick an agent on their reviews and skills before even looking at a property.

02

Their whole catalog in one place

Once you've found the agent, you access all their properties and send them one clear request, whatever the project.

03

From map to appointment

Spot the agent on the map, browse their properties, book a slot: one continuous journey, no form that gets lost.

04

An expert, not a faceless agency

The relationship is direct, with a rigorously selected agent rather than an agency switchboard.

Recommendation

Very serious, organized work. Highly responsive and professional. I highly recommend!
