Paj is a conversational app built to search for theater plays, simply and naturally. You chat with the agent, tell it about your troupe, your constraints and your wishes, and it finds the play that fits. Its visual identity draws on the infinite architecture of the Library of Babel: a hexagonal, modular and evolving system that evokes the many possible stories. Each hexagon becomes a stage, each interaction leads to a new story. Project carried out as a team.

Search by talking, not filtering
You describe your troupe, your tone, your constraints and your wishes in natural language. The agent draws on a richly described catalog of plays (characters, cast, audience, staging) to suggest the ones that truly fit, instead of a list of cold filters.
An identity inspired by the Library of Babel
The visual world is built around a hexagonal, modular and evolving system that evokes the many possible stories. Each hexagon becomes a stage, each interaction leads the user to a new story.
An almost-alive design system
Micro-interactions are built into the whole design system, for a dynamic, responsive UX/UI journey, almost alive in its movement. Components are documented in Storybook, so a team can move forward without stepping on each other.
A technical base that's simple to keep
Rails and React bridged by Inertia.js, with no separate REST API to maintain, and real time via ActionCable for a conversation that updates live.

I had the chance to work with Thibault on the PAJ project, a platform dedicated to the discoverability of French-language theater texts. Thibault worked mainly on the front-end side of the project, with an important role in shaping the user experience and bringing the first interfaces to life. I appreciated our discussions around the product, as well as his ability to contribute to a cultural project blending technical challenges, business use cases and the promotion of the theatrical repertoire. This collaboration helped move forward a first structuring step of the project.
Having worked with Thibault on a shared assignment, I can only recommend his frontend expertise (in React in particular) and his rigor at work. His attention to detail combined with his good mood make him a developer who is a real pleasure to work with.
